A Storybook Baby Shower

 This past Sunday was my Sister-in law's baby shower.  The theme we chose was Children's Books! It was so much fun to make everything, and especially to see it all come together. A lot of these ideas my Mom and I got from websites, and some were our own forced creative ways :-p

For The Center pieces; Book trees! 

We used books that were on their last legs to make the place mats for the tables. 

All of the food had a story book theme to go along with it. For instance the sandwiches were labeled after the book "Sam's Sandwich" The Veggie tray after Peter Rabbits Garden, and so fourth.

 The thank you favors were a chocolate covered spoon labled "A spoonful of sugar" with a mini Mary Poppins "book" attached
